THE MAGIC OF THE FARMHOUSE AMIDST PLANTS AND ANIMALS

In front of you the scenery of the Dolomites, below you the sea of roofs of Bolzano:

the farm Messnerhof lies 560 m above sea level in St. Giorgio, 4.5 km away from the main city of the region South Tyrol.
From here you can enjoy wonderful views on the Latemar and on the valley underneath.
The house is farmed by Mr and Mrs Prinoth and by their daughter Barbara who turned it into a perfect example of versatile alpine farm over the years.
On the hillside southwards thrive apple trees and vineyards whilst a huge variety of vegetables and herbs grow in the wide garden.
The production is completed by fruits and berries which ripen in the different seasons: figs, cherries, apricots, persimmons, kiwi, etc.
